Specially grown in the Alazani valley in Georgia, this variety of grape gives density to the wine as well as a deep burgundy colour. At the same time, it attracts by its moderate tartness, flavours of mulberry, a mixture of creaminess shaded by coconut butter.

The authors recommend this wine for an outdoor supper. Saperavi will complement the taste of barbecue, shashlyk and grilled meat.
